What are people’s favorite, most useful, most thought-inspiring resources?
I’m subscribed to many things, and try to keep reading books of significance (as well as distraction), but I also find that some (like Joan’s) bubble to the top regularly.
I’d love to hear what others find useful and that I might find worth adding to my always changing list (which is here, by the way: Sources - 7 Takeaways)
For me my background is mainly technology and business so I like Westenberg, Hacker News, TechCrunch, Big Think, and especially X (I follow a lot of founders and tech stuff there).
I like your reading list by the way it’s pretty diverse! I’ll probably be a bookmark shun of them as well.
One newsletter that has stood the tests of time for me is Ted Gioia’s The Honest Broker. He is a remarkably keen observer of cultural trends, very widely read (deep on the classics), writes in a deceptively casual style. It’s the only Substack newsletter I pay for — but the free tier is very generous, worthwhile on its own.
