Hi. Thank you for the amazing work and I appreciate your thoughtfulness and ideas. One of the, seemingly, trivial things I seem unable to address is how to NOT have dark mode. It hurts my eyes and makes the site unreadable for me. I looked at preferences and searched the web but don’t see how to turn on light mode. Any suggestions?

Agreed. I was very surprised to see this reprise from the Dark Ages (p.i.). Yes, more favorable power consumption for CRT & OLED. But no change in what’s demonstrably best for human eyesight — dark on light — as far as I know. Unless you’re sojourning in polar summer of course. Or it’s normal nighttime and you’ve activated Dark Mode by your own choice, as I have right this minute on my iPhone.
Fair enough! I have a stylistic aversion to light mode as I want the forum to match the blog. But point taken - I’ll make the change
